Our Purpose
Our purpose is to provide emergency communications when all other modes have failed.

Organization Purpose

This club works with a national group called Amateur Radio Emergency Service (A.R.E.S.) to provide communications to areas where there are no normal communications such as power, phone lines, cell phones, ect. These areas can be anywhere a natural or man made disaster has occurred. Also our purpose is to provide a hands on learning experience for youth of all ages. People at the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) have found that hands on learning helps more students learn better in multiple subjects such as math, sciences, technology, language arts, vocational trades, and more. This group is here to provide a fun yet educational hobby that the whole family will enjoy.

Our Mission

Our mission is to further promote the interests of Amateur Radio through our members to the community. We strive to make a difference by educating the public about Amateur Radio and how important it is to keep it around.

Why we are here....
Our club is here for youth... we help youth learn science, math, language arts, and vocational trades by the use of Amateur Radio. Amateur Radio is a hands on learning tool to help students learn better. We are also here to provide a fun yet educational hobby for youth in New Mexico and Colorado and around the country.

Where is the club located?
We are located in New Mexico and Colorado as state wide clubs. Our base of operations is in Raton, NM and Trinidad, CO.
